Soccer For Success (at Widener University)

 

CICS was a representative for the city of Chester in the administration of the Soccer for Success Program.

The program was developed by the U.S. Soccer Foundation as a means to promote positive social change.

We made our representation as soccer coaches, serving 2 schools (Widener Partnership Charter School and

Drexel Nuemann Academy) of 7 sites within the Chester-Upland School District.

 

The program targets physical activity, nutricion, mentorship and family engagement for 90 minutes 3 times a week.

Metrics are obtained for the students before and at the end each of the two 13 week program to gage our progress.
